Self Propelled
Self propelled gear drive is transmitted by a cast aluminium gearbox with worm gears, the heart of the DR’s transmission. Sealed and lubricated for life, the transmission gearbox never requires adjustment or maintenance.

Fully Protected Drive Train
The drive system is fully enclosed underneath by a high-density polyethylene bottom shield. This protects the undercarriage of the DR® TRIMMER/MOWER from sticks, cut vegetation, and debris. Field tests have shown that this extends the life of the drive belt more than threefold!
